The UK's leading single-seater series will race at Spa-Francorchamps on 23-25 July next year, with two championship-scoring races.
Motorsport UK confirmed on 3 November that British F4 will support the 2027 Belgian Grand Prix weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, 23-25 July. It is a full scoring round with two races, and the series' first visit to the Belgian circuit.
The British F4 Championship, certified by FIA, will support the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2027, Motorsport UK confirmed on 3 November. The series will race at the Belgian circuit for the first time on the weekend of 23-25 July next year.
It will be the second time British F4 has appeared on the Formula 1 schedule, after its guest appearance at Silverstone in 2025. Unlike that occasion, the Belgian weekend will be a full championship-scoring event, with two races scheduled across Saturday and Sunday.
The only national F4 series on the bill
Motorsport UK said British F4 is the only national Formula 4 series set to support Formula 1 next year. It added that the Spa date will let a worldwide audience watch the next generation of drivers, and pointed to alumni including 2025 World Champion Lando Norris and his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri.
What the series said
Eve Lake-Grange, British F4 Championship Manager, said: "There is no bigger stage than Formula 1." She said the series had worked behind the scenes to secure a return to the Formula 1 support bill since the 2025 Silverstone appearance, and that the added emphasis this time is that it is an official championship round.
She also said that, with this year's season only just finished, interest among teams and drivers had already been strong, and that British F4 prides itself on being the first step on the pathway to Formula 1.
