Supercars has unveiled a 14-round calendar for the 2027 Supercars Championship, the category's 30th anniversary season. The season runs from Sydney Motorsport Park on 26-28 February to the Adelaide Grand Final on 25-28 November, with events across six Australian states and territories and both islands of New Zealand.
Phillip Island returns to the calendar for the first time since 2019 as the second round of the Finals. Darwin's Hidden Valley Raceway will host the first night race in Championship history, and Townsville follows in early July.
How the season is structured
The three-phase championship introduced in 2025 returns: the Sprint Cup, the Enduro Cup and the Supercars Finals. The Sprint Cup starts at Sydney Motorsport Park, with Symmons Plains in Tasmania a fortnight later. Supercars then joins the Formula One Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne in early April.
The New Zealand Double Header returns, with Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch opening back-to-back weekends before teams head north to Taupo International Motorsport Park. The championship heads west in early August for a final visit to Wanneroo Raceway, and the Sprint Cup winner is crowned at Sandown Raceway later that month.
The Enduro Cup takes in The Bend Motorsport Park in mid-September. The Bathurst 1000 runs from 7-10 October, and it decides the final 10 drivers for the Supercars Finals, which start on the Gold Coast in late October. The Finals then move to Phillip Island and conclude in Adelaide on the new-look street circuit in November.
What Supercars said
Supercars Executive Chairman and interim CEO Barclay Nettlefold said the calendar blends innovation and tradition, with night racing in Darwin and the revamped Adelaide street circuit adding new elements. Tickets for 2027 Supercars events go on sale on 23 November.
