About

Twenty years in print. Now online.

MotorGrail is an international magazine for people who love cars: the greatest cars ever made, every marque and every era, buyer's guides, comparisons, motorsport and the people behind the machines.

It grew out of a car magazine that ran in print for twenty years. Online, we can finally do what print never allowed: cover every marque and every model, keep the facts current, and connect every story to the cars around it.

How we work

Every article is written from researched sources, and every specification and date is checked against them before it is published. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under their stated licences and are credited on every page; see Photo credits. Car data includes Wikidata, which is free to reuse.

Who writes it

James Choucair (editor; reviews, comparisons and general features), Elie Arzoumlian (electric vehicles), Shady Haddad (rotary engines, Japanese performance cars and drag builds) and Mark Bachour (European cars, BMW in particular). See the masthead and our editorial policy.

Who publishes it

MotorGrail is published by the team behind Drive Tribe, a prestige and performance car hire network in Sydney, Australia.
