The Honda Heritage Parts programme reaches America with the 1991-2005 NSX, sold only through Acura dealers and the Honda DreamShop.
Acura has brought the Honda Heritage Parts programme to the United States, opening with over 3,000 reproduction components for the 1991-2005 first-generation NSX. Owners can buy them only from Acura dealerships nationwide and the Honda DreamShop, and the range is due to grow.
Owners of the first-generation Acura NSX in the United States can now buy newly made replacement parts for their cars. Acura has put more than 3,000 of them on sale for the 1991-2005 NSX, the opening move of a Honda Heritage Parts programme aimed at older Acura and Honda performance cars.
The parts are sold exclusively through Acura dealerships nationwide and through the Honda DreamShop. Acura describes the current catalogue as a starting point, and says it plans to expand the offering in the future. It has not said which cars or parts will follow.
A programme that began in Japan
Honda Heritage Parts was first introduced in Japan in April. The American launch brings the same idea to the market where the NSX carried the Acura badge, and it begins with the model that the company itself treats as the natural place to start. The programme is aimed at customers who already own a classic Acura or Honda performance car and want to keep it in good order.
The release does not list individual components, prices or ordering details, so owners will need to ask a dealer or check the DreamShop to learn whether a specific part is covered.
What Honda says
Mamadou Diallo, executive vice president at American Honda Motor Co., Inc., said the programme was created to help customers enjoy their classic cars, and that it made sense to start with the first-generation NSX. He described the aim as supporting owners who want to preserve the car's legacy and keep these sports cars on the road for enthusiasts today and for future generations.
The decision to sell only through Acura dealers and the Honda DreamShop keeps the supply inside the manufacturer's own network. That is the channel owners would use for any other genuine part for their car, so a classic NSX is now handled in the same way as a current model.
Acura today
The NSX sits well apart from the brand's present range. Acura says its 2026 range has four models, led by the Integra sport sedan and rounded out by the ADX, RDX and MDX SUVs. The company adds that around 85% of the Acura cars it sold in America in 2025 were built there, from a mix of domestic and imported components.
Against that background, the heritage programme is a notable gesture towards the brand's past. The first-generation NSX ran from 1991 to 2005, and Acura is now committing parts supply to every year of that production run.
