The updated electric saloon gets an 84kWh battery, up to 422 miles of range and a three-trim line-up, with deliveries due in early 2027.
Hyundai Motor UK has priced the updated Ioniq 6 from 33,240 pounds including the 3,750 pound Electric Car Grant. The 84kWh car offers up to 422 miles of range in rear-wheel-drive form, in Premium, N Line and N Line Evo trims. Orders are open now, with deliveries in early 2027.
Hyundai has put UK prices on the updated Ioniq 6, and the headline figure is 33,240 pounds. That is the Premium rear-wheel-drive car after the 3,750 pound Electric Car Grant, and Hyundai says it is available to order now with deliveries in early 2027.
The new car carries an 84kWh battery that Hyundai says is good for up to 422 miles, at 4.6 miles/kWh. An 800V electrical architecture keeps the rapid-charging ability of the outgoing model. Power comes from a 229PS rear-wheel-drive setup or a 325PS all-wheel-drive one.
Trims and prices
The range has been realigned into Premium, N Line and N Line Evo. Only the Premium and N Line rear-wheel-drive cars qualify for the grant, and the prices Hyundai quotes for them already include it.
| Version | Output | Price from | 0-62mph | Range, up to |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium RWD | 229PS | 33,240 pounds | 7.4 seconds | 422 miles |
| N Line RWD | 229PS | 36,240 pounds | 7.4 seconds | 364 miles |
| N Line Evo RWD | 229PS | 43,270 pounds | 7.4 seconds | 364 miles |
| N Line Evo AWD | 325PS | 46,770 pounds | 5.1 seconds | 354 miles |
A plain 84kWh all-wheel-drive version is also listed from 43,490 pounds, with 325PS, a 5.1 second sprint to 62mph and a maximum of up to 354 miles.
What you get
Premium comes with 18-inch alloys, flush auto door handles, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and steering wheel, a heat pump and wireless phone charging. There is a 12.3-inch navigation and infotainment screen, over-the-air updates and a safety package that includes Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Highway Drive Assist 2 and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.
N Line adds sportier exterior and interior treatment: 20-inch alloys, high-gloss black bumpers, metal sports pedals, an N steering wheel and red stitching. The seats are cloth and leather with red detailing.
N Line Evo sits at the top. It brings leather and suede seat trim, a suede headliner, a memory driver's seat, ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof and a head-up display. Parking tech includes Surround View Monitor and Remote Smart Parking Assist, and there is Digital Key 2, an exterior vehicle-to-load adaptor and a Bose audio system.
Design changes
Outside, the car has an elevated bonnet, a longer profile and a shark-nose front. The black lower-body garnish now runs into the doors. At the rear, the old model's prominent spoiler gives way to an extended ducktail. Hyundai offers 12 exterior colours and two interior finishes, and the high-voltage battery carries an 8 year, 100,000 mile warranty.
Ashley Andrew, president of Hyundai and Genesis UK, said the grant makes the package more accessible still.
