What Subaru says
Jeff Walters, the company's president and chief operating officer, credited the work of Subaru retailers in matching customers with the right vehicle. He pointed to a range built around safety, capability, versatility and affordability, offered with petrol, hybrid and electric powertrains, and said customers can rely on any of them every day and on the next adventure.
Troy Poston, senior vice president of sales, called it another strong month for retailers and singled out the response to Outback and WRX. He said demand was holding up across the range, including hybrid and electric models such as the award-winning Trailseeker, and that Subaru intends to keep offering vehicles to suit different lifestyles, needs and budgets.
