British driver Reza Seewooruthun will make his rookie FIA Formula 3 season with Rodin Motorsport in 2027, and he has set a top-ten target.
Reza Seewooruthun, a 20-year-old British driver, will race for Rodin Motorsport in the 2027 season of the series, after two podiums in 2026 in another category. He said his goal is to finish consistently inside the top ten.
British driver Reza Seewooruthun will make his step up to FIA Formula 3 in 2027 with Rodin Motorsport, where he will be the lone rookie in the line-up. The 20-year-old scored two podiums with the team in the Formula Regional European Championship during 2026, and he said he is delighted to stay with them for the move.
Seewooruthun has a third-place finish in the 2024 British F4 Championship on his record. He said he has always wanted to race in FIA Formula 3 and is happy to be doing it so soon.
Staying with Rodin
Seewooruthun said that remaining with the team saves a lot of hassle. He already knows everyone in the team, and he has known his engineer a little since last year from seeing him around the factory and with the crew on the simulator. He said that makes settling into the new series a lot smoother.
His teammates are Pedro Clerot and Alessandro Giusti, who are in their second and third years in the series. Speaking at testing, Seewooruthun said he is studying their data to find where he can improve, and that their experience gives him plenty to work from.
Goals for the season
Seewooruthun's stated aim is consistency. He said that finishing inside the top ten in both races at a race weekend keeps a driver within reach of the championship, given how quickly results can swing. He named Jeddah and Montreal among the circuits he is looking forward to, and said street tracks would be fun with these cars, which he described as having plenty of traction and downforce.
