The Chinese electric car group says its ten-month total is a record, up 38.5 per cent year-on-year.
NIO Inc. delivered 34,246 vehicles in October 2026, the company said. That takes its January to October total to 334,547, up 38.5% year-on-year and a record high. The NIO brand supplied 18,125 of the October cars, ONVO 8,383 and firefly 7,738.
NIO Inc. delivered 34,246 vehicles in October 2026, and the company says its total for the first ten months of the year has reached 334,547. That is a record high and a rise of 38.5% year-on-year.
October by brand
Three brands make up the group's numbers, and all three contributed last month. The premium NIO brand, which the company describes as a smart electric vehicle label, delivered 18,125 cars, comfortably more than half of the October total. ONVO, pitched at families, handed over 8,383. The small, high-end firefly brand followed with 7,738, not far behind its sibling.
| Brand | Positioning | October deliveries |
|---|---|---|
| NIO | Premium smart electric vehicle | 18,125 |
| ONVO | Family-oriented smart electric vehicle | 8,383 |
| firefly | Small smart high-end electric car | 7,738 |
| NIO Inc. | Group total | 34,246 |
The split shows how the group spreads its bets. NIO aims at buyers who want a premium electric car, ONVO at households shopping for a family vehicle, and firefly at drivers who want a compact car with high-end touches. In October each of those aims found customers, though the premium label remained well ahead of the other two.
The ten-month picture
From January to October, NIO Inc. says it delivered 334,547 vehicles. The NIO brand alone accounted for 200,113 of them, up 55.7% year-on-year, so it still carries the bulk of the group's volume. ONVO delivered 78,574 over the same period; NIO did not give a growth rate for that brand. The firefly brand delivered 55,860, a jump of 112.9% year-on-year, which is the steepest rise among the percentages the company quoted.
| Brand | January to October deliveries | Year-on-year change |
|---|---|---|
| NIO | 200,113 | +55.7% |
| ONVO | 78,574 | n/a |
| firefly | 55,860 | +112.9% |
| NIO Inc. | 334,547 | +38.5% |
Running total
Looking back further, NIO says the group has now put 1,332,139 vehicles into customers' hands since it began deliveries. The three brand figures for the ten months add up to the group total, so the count covers every vehicle sold under the NIO, ONVO and firefly names.
The figures were published on the company's own newsroom. They are delivery counts reported by NIO itself, and the company has not given a breakdown by model or by market in this announcement.
