The new Epiq Sportline makes its public debut next to the Peaq, as Skoda says the two electric models have more than 70,000 orders.
Skoda announced on 8 October that the Epiq Sportline, a sporty variant of its compact electric SUV, makes its public debut at the Paris Motor Show. The Epiq and Peaq have more than 70,000 orders combined. Skoda is showing 15 vehicles at its Hall 4 stand, which welcomes visitors from 13 to 18 October.
Skoda has shown the Epiq Sportline in public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show. The new variant joins the Epiq family of compact electric city SUV crossovers and carries the design details that mark out Skoda's Sportline models. It sits at the centre of the brand's Paris presence and is displayed beside the Peaq, which Skoda calls the new flagship at the upper end of its electric range.
A bigger electric line-up
Skoda says the Epiq and Peaq have doubled its all-electric portfolio this year. The Epiq provides an accessible entry point to the battery-electric range, while the Peaq extends it at the top. Between them, the two models have more than 70,000 orders combined. The company says both are attracting new customer groups to electric mobility made by Skoda, and that both have been well received by buyers.
Skoda frames the expansion as broader customer choice, with electric models at both the compact and the upper end of its range.
Skoda says the electric city SUV crossover is strategically important to its current electric portfolio, and the Epiq Sportline is the latest member of that family. Both models are designed to draw new customers into electric motoring at opposite ends of the range.
What is on the stand
Skoda's stand is in Hall 4 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, and it will show 15 vehicles from the current range. Highlights include the Peaq Tour de France 'Red Car' and the Skoda 130 RS racing car. The 130 RS is on display to mark the 125th anniversary of Skoda Motorsport, and visitors can explore the brand's model range up close. Together, the Peaq, the Epiq Sportline and the 130 RS show the current electric range beside the brand's motorsport history.
Public access runs from 13 to 18 October, giving visitors the chance to see the Epiq Sportline in person alongside the Peaq. The Epiq Sportline is the centrepiece of Skoda's presence at the show, with the Peaq displayed next to it.
Skoda did not give power, range or price figures for the Epiq Sportline in its announcement, and the announcement does not give a date for the variant to reach customers.
